Cape Girardeau to host Memorial Day 5K remembrance run/walk

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The 3rd Annual Memorial Day 5K Remembrance Run/Walk will take place May 26, 2025, at Cape County Park North.

The event honors fallen heroes and supports Tradesmen for the Kingdom, a nonprofit organization providing vocational training and life-skills education to local youth.

Participants will navigate a scenic, patriotic course lined with American flags, each representing a veteran who served with courage and sacrifice.

Registration is available online. All registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt, and finishers will receive a dog tag-style medal.
