PSC sets deadline for interventions in Missouri-American water case

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The Missouri Public Service Commission has set a May 16 deadline for interventions in a case involving Missouri-American Water Company’s request for a certificate of convenience and necessity.

The company seeks to acquire and operate a portion of a water system in Johnson County currently owned by Johnson County Public Water Supply District No. 3.

Those wishing to intervene must file applications with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission by the deadline.

Citizens may comment through the Office of the Public Counsel or the Public Service Commission Staff.
