David Lee Roth to headline Du Quoin State Fair

DU QUOIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Rock legend David Lee Roth will perform at the Du Quoin State Fair on Aug. 23, fair officials announced.

Roth, the voice of Van Halen, is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer known for hits like “Jump,” “Panama” and “Runnin’ with the Devil.”

With over 80 million records sold worldwide, Van Halen’s impact on rock music remains significant.

“Bringing a legend like David Lee Roth to the Du Quoin State Fair is a major win for our fairgoers and for Southern Illinois,” said Illinois Department of Agriculture Director Jerry Costello II.

Tickets for the concert go on sale May 9 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.

The Du Quoin State Fair runs from Aug. 22 to Sept. 1.
