Cape Girardeau educators receive regional awards

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Two administrators at Terry W. Kitchen Central Junior High School in Cape Girardeau were honored Tuesday by the Southeast Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals.

Garett Cook was named Regional Middle Level Principal of the Year, while Halley Russell received the Middle Level Assistant Principal of the Year award.

The Cape Girardeau Public Schools district praised the two educators, saying they are well-deserving of the recognition and expressing gratitude for their continued commitment to the district.
