Cape Girardeau Road Runners host prediction run June 21
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Road Runners will host a unique running event on June 21, challenging participants to predict their finish time without the aid of technology.
The Prediction Run will take place at 8 a.m. at Arena Park Pavilion 1. The event is free and open to the public.
Here’s how it works: Participants will predict their finish time for a mystery distance between 1 mile and 5K. The actual distance will be revealed the morning of the event.
Runners will then complete the course without watches, phones or other pacing devices. The person who finishes closest to their predicted time will win an award.
A casual club meeting and pancake breakfast will follow the run. All paces and experience levels are welcome.
