Caruthersville police investigate reports of prowlers, vehicle tampering

CARUTHERSVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Police are investigating reports of prowlers and vehicle tampering in the area of East 20th and Ward, near Stonewall Drive.

Officers responded to a 3 a.m. call Wednesday and spoke with the caller to gather information.

Anyone who notices signs of tampering with their vehicle, such as an ajar door or missing items, is asked to call 573-333-2121 to report the incident.

Police are also seeking video surveillance footage to aid in identifying suspects. Anyone with relevant footage can email it to JHudgens@caruthersvillepd.com.
