Marion, Ill. man charged with felony sexual assault of a minor

WILLAIMSON COUNTY, Ill., (KBSI) – Williamson County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Thomas J. Jones, of Marion, Illinois, on Wednesday, May 15, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Jones was taken into custody while driving in the 200 block of East Boulevard Street in Marion. He faces a charge of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under 13, a Class X felony.

Jones was transported to the Williamson County Jail.
