Severe storms bring damage, power outages to Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Strong storms, large hail and tornadoes have swept through parts of Missouri, causing significant damage and power outages in the St. Louis region, southeast Missouri and south-central Missouri.

Southeast Missouri will continue to feel the impact of the storms Friday evening.

Motorists are advised to be cautious of debris on roadways and downed power lines in affected areas. Law enforcement and emergency responders are assessing damage and assisting those in need.
