Cape Splash Aquatic Center reopens May 31 after storm damage
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Splash Family Aquatic Center will reopen on May 31, after sustaining significant storm damage on May 20.
The facility’s safety features have been thoroughly inspected and necessary repairs have been completed to ensure a safe environment for guests.
However, some attractions, including the mat racers and speed slides, will not be available on opening day. The small and medium-sized slides may also have limited operation.
New operating hours for the 2025 season are:
Sunday-Thursday: 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Riverwalking and Preschool Playtime will begin on June 2, with scheduled hours Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 p.m.-7:45 p.m.
