FEMA disaster assistance available for Missouri residents

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) – Missouri residents affected by disasters can apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

To apply, residents can call 1-800-621-3362 (711 or Video Relay Service) or visit (link unavailable)

Applicants will need to provide:

• Address with zip code
• Condition of damaged home
• Insurance information (if available)
• Social Security number
• Phone number and email address (for electronic notifications)

FEMA offers direct deposit of disaster assistance funds into bank accounts. Residents will need to provide bank account type, account number and routing number.

A FEMA registration number will be provided upon application. Residents should save this number for future reference.

Disaster assistance is available regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, English proficiency or economic status.
