MDC names Kirby VanDover Private Land Conservationist for Ripley, Carter counties

DONIPHAN, Mo., (KBSI) — Kirby VanDover has been named the Missouri Department of Conservation’s private land conservationist for Ripley and Carter counties.

A native of Ripley County, VanDover will work with landowners to provide conservation advice and partner with other agencies to deliver resource management information through workshops and events.

VanDover previously worked as a resource technician with MDC and as a student trainee with the U.S. Forest Service.

He is a graduate of Three Rivers Community College and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
