Vehicle fire extinguished at Cape County Towing

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) – Crews responded to a vehicle fire at Cape County Towing, 1300 block of S. Hope Street, just before 1:30 p.m. on June 12, 2025.

Upon arrival, firefighters found one vehicle fully engulfed in flames in the back lot.

Ladder 2 and Engine 23 quickly extinguished the fire. Investigators determined a spark contacting a leaking fuel tank caused the blaze.

Fortunately, all units returned to service without reporting any injuries.
