Eldorado School Superintendent under investigation

ELDORADO, Ill., (KBSI) — The superintendent of Eldorado Community Unit School District #4 is under investigation for potential financial misconduct, a district employee confirmed.

The school board removed Superintendent Ryan Hobbs from district accounts at two banks during a special meeting Monday.

High School Principal Jonathan Cusic was added as an authorized signer on the accounts.

The board declined to comment on personnel matters. The Regional Office of Education also declined comment.

Hobbs remains listed as superintendent on the district’s website.
