City to host free Parks and Recreation Day event July 9

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — The city will celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with a free Parks and Recreation Day event on July 9.

The kid-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Osage Centre, featuring ice cream, prizes, crafts and games. Local vendors will also offer fun activities.
