I-24 lane restrictions planned near Cumberland River Bridge

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict lanes on Interstate 24 near the Cumberland River Bridge at the Livingston-Lyon County line on June 30 and July 1.

On June 30, crews will work in the right-hand lane of I-24 westbound between mile markers 33 and 35, cutting brush behind guardrails approaching the bridge.

On July 1, the same work will occur in the right-hand lane of I-24 eastbound between mile markers 33 and 35.

Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, weather permitting. Motorists should be alert for signage and follow traffic guidance in the work zone.
