Paducah man arrested following vehicle pursuit, seizure of over 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A Paducah man was arrested Sunday night after a vehicle pursuit and the seizure of over 100 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

James E. France, 46, was taken into custody after deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Cairo Road. France fled, prompting a pursuit that continued into rural McCracken County.

France, who was on felony parole, was identified as a source of methamphetamine supply in an ongoing joint investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office and the Paducah Police Department.

France faces multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, wanton endangerment, and fleeing or evading police.

He was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital before being booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
