Cape Girardeau to host 2025 downtown sculpture exhibition

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Old Town Cape will host the 2025 Downtown Sculpture Exhibition, featuring six large-scale sculptures along Broadway in historic downtown Cape Girardeau.

The exhibition, which runs from September 2025 to June 2026, is open to local, regional, and national sculptors through a juried process.

Artists can submit their work by August 1, with no application fee. Selected artists will be notified by August 5.

The exhibition is made possible by the Downtown Cape Girardeau Community Improvement District and the City of Cape Girardeau.
