Unofficial results; Petton wins Bollinger County Sheriff special election

BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Unofficial election results show Stanley “Stash” Petton Jr. will be the next sheriff of Bollinger County.

Petton, the current interim sheriff, won a special election Tuesday, defeating candidates Donnie Reed, a part-time county deputy, and Jerry “Lee” Gilliam, former assistant police chief in Marble Hill.

The special election was held to fill the vacancy left by former Sheriff Casey Graham, who resigned effective May 1.
