Firefighters respond to structure fire in Gordonville

GORDONVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Firefighters from the Gordonville Fire Protection District, assisted by Jackson Fire Rescue, responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of Blue Willow Lane Thursday morning.

The fire, reported just before 11 a.m., was contained and extinguished by Jackson Fire Rescue. Gordonville crews assisted in overhaul operations to ensure no fire extension.

Two occupants safely evacuated the residence thanks to a neighbor who noticed the fire and alerted them. The fire was determined to be electrical in origin.
