Dangerous heat and humidity through Friday
Hot and Humid conditions starting Wednesday afternoon. Heat indices up to 105+ degrees across the viewing area. There will be a chance for some isolated showers and thunderstorms Wednesday evening. Thursday, widespread thunderstorms will look to be likely in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will warm up into the mid to upper 90s by next week.
Temperatures will feel like 100- 105+ degrees for all of us Wednesday afternoon.
There is already HEAT ADVISORIES getting issued through Wednesday night. Heat Advisories will most likely be issued for most of the viewing area by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday afternoon, high temperatures reaching the lower 90s across the region. We will be getting hotter and muggier by next week.
Dew points in the upper 70s, even a few low 80s in some spots. Very muggy throughout the boothills Wednesday.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue each afternoon through this week. Thursday, storms look to be likely in the afternoon and evening hours. The strongest storms may pose an isolated threat of damaging winds. Heavy rainfall will accompany all storms that develop. The hot and humid conditions will continue through this weekend, heat indices will climb into the triple digits throughout the region Wednesday through Friday. Heat Advisories are already being issued and could get extended each day due to the moisture increase.
