Kentucky State Police update on injured trooper, Lexington shooting investigation
LEXINGTON, Ky. (KBSI) — The Kentucky State Police is grateful for the outpouring of support for Trooper Jude Remilien, who was injured in a shooting incident in Lexington on Sunday.
Remilien, a 3-year veteran of the agency assigned to Post 12 in Frankfort, remains hospitalized in stable condition. He and his family have requested privacy as he recovers.
The shooting was one of two incidents that occurred in Fayette County on Sunday.
Authorities said a gunman killed two women at Richmond Road Baptist Church and wounded a state trooper outside the Blue Grass Airport before being shot and killed by police
