VA Medical Center to host town hall event for veterans

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo., (KBSI) — The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center will host a town hall event on July 31 to provide information to veterans and their families about available health care services and programs.

The event will take place at the Brown-Mabry American Legion Post 153, 2320 Kanell Blvd., and will feature outreach booths, free blood pressure checks and a question-and-answer session with medical center leadership.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and the event is open to all veterans, regardless of whether they are enrolled in VA health care.
