Shots fired incident under investigation in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Police responded to reports of shots fired early Saturday morning in the 0-100 block of N. Main.

Officers arrived on the scene around 12:30 a.m. and spoke with a witness who reported seeing a male subject fire one shot at another subject.

Both the victim and suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing, and no injuries or property damage were reported.
