Police investigate armed robbery report in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police responded to an armed robbery report at a business in the 2800-block of Themis early Saturday morning.

Officers arrived on the scene around 12:15 a.m. and spoke with the victim, who reported that the suspect entered the business, pointed a firearm at an employee, and demanded cash.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
