Man arrested after allegedly pointing gun at woman’s head
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — On July 21, 2025, at approximately 3:21 a.m., officers responded to a reported weapon violation in the 1000 block of N. Middle.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who stated that Jon Primm had struck her multiple times with a flashlight and his closed fist, then pointed a small firearm at her head.
Primm was located inside the residence and was persuaded to exit and surrender after a phone conversation with officers.
During an interview, Primm stated that he had been asleep and was awakened by the victim, who was making food. Primm admitted to yelling at the victim, throwing an item at her, and brandishing the firearm in a threatening manner.
Primm also stated that he threatened to shoot the victim’s dog.
