Three charged in connection with vehicle break-ins, thefts in Scott City

SCOTT CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities have filed charges against three suspects in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins and thefts that occurred in early July.

According to the Scott County Police Department, Austin D. Larose, Vaquon D. Johnson and Atyren Z. Daso have been charged with various felonies and misdemeanors, including stealing firearms, receiving stolen property and tampering with vehicles.

The investigation is ongoing, with police working to recover stolen property and locate additional stolen firearms.

The Scott City Police Department is working in conjunction with the Cape Girardeau Police Department on the case.
