Saint Francis Healthcare System mourns loss of physician after sudden death

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Dr. Sarah Ann Aydt, a longtime and deeply respected member of the internal medicine and pediatrics team with Saint Francis Healthcare System, has died unexpectedly.

Aydt was a trusted voice among her colleagues and a passionate advocate for her patients. She was known for her compassionate presence in the community.

Outside of work, Aydt enjoyed playing pickleball, where she connected with and encouraged those around her.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of care and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her.
