Man pleads guilty to second-degree murder in Cape Girardeau
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Mylik Starnes, 21, of Cape Girardeau, pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree murder in the shooting death of a person on Sept. 23, 2021.
The investigation was conducted by the Cape Girardeau and Bollinger County Major Case Squad.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18, 2025, before Judge Fred W. Copeland.
