Orange Barrel Report July 29

(KBSI) Northbound I-57 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from mile marker 10.8 to mile marker 12 near Charleston, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 25 through Thursday, Sept. 4 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The work zone will be set-up for 24 hours a day.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has a daytime work zone along KY 80 in Calloway County.

Milling and paving work will be along KY 80, in the eastbound lanes only, from KY 94C to the Calloway-Marshall County Line, or about mile points 16.5 to 22.6.

Motorists should be alert for signage and trucks with arrow boards guiding traffic to shift into the open lane. Use appropriate caution.

The project is expected to take about three weeks, weather permitting.
