Saint Francis Healthcare Scholarship Program awards 23 students with $2,000 scholarship

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Saint Francis Foundation and Saint Francis Auxiliary have awarded 23 scholarships to students pursuing healthcare careers.

The scholarships, each worth $2,000, were presented during a recognition luncheon on July 25.

Recipients include students from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City, and surrounding areas, pursuing degrees in various healthcare-related professions.

The Saint Francis Healthcare Scholarship Program was established in 1980 and has awarded over $929,000 in scholarships to support students pursuing healthcare careers.

To be eligible, applicants must have completed at least one year in an accredited healthcare program, maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, and reside within the Saint Francis service area.
