Law enforcement agencies collaborate to apprehend wanted individual in Malden

MALDEN, Mo., (KBSI) — A wanted individual was taken into custody Thursday at a Malden residence, thanks to a coordinated effort by the Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department, Malden Department of Public Safety and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.

Authorities had received credible information suggesting the suspect might be armed, prompting the request for a tactical team from the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Department ¹. The suspect exited the residence upon the tactical team’s arrival and was apprehended without incident.

The Dunklin County Sheriff’s Department expressed gratitude to all participating agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department and Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Department, for their crucial support in ensuring a safe operation.
