American Red Cross recruiting local disaster response volunteers

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The American Red Cross of Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas is seeking local disaster response volunteers and will host a training session on Aug. 17.

The training, scheduled for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Red Cross chapter office, 20 S. Mount Auburn Rd., will prepare volunteers to provide immediate assistance and resources to those affected by disasters such as home fires, floods and tornadoes.
