Orange Barrel Report August 6

(KBSI) Eastbound Route 72 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced as construction crews perform overnight concrete replacement.

This section of roadway is located from Lee Avenue to Route 61 in Jackson, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, Aug. 22 through Monday, Aug. 25 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to begin nighttime milling and paving along U.S. 641/12th Street in Calloway County starting on Thursday, Aug. 7.

The work zone will extend from mile point 6.6 to 11, or from near Tabard Drive to KY 80 in Murray.

Lane restrictions will be in place in both directions, with two paving crews operating simultaneously. Work will take place nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
