Tennessee FEMA assistance deadline looms: Aug. 19 cutoff for storm victims
NASHVILLE, Tenn., (KBSI) — Tennesseans affected by the April 2-24 severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding have until Aug. 19 to apply for FEMA assistance.
The aid is available to homeowners, renters, students, self-employed individuals, ranchers and farmers in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Dyer, Hardeman, McNairy, Montgomery, Obion and Wilson counties.
Assistance can cover uninsured costs for rental expenses, home repairs, vehicle damage, medical expenses and temporary housing.
