Murray man arrested, charged with indecent exposure, resisting arrest

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — A 57-year-old Murray man was arrested Tuesday and charged with indecent exposure and resisting arrest after a sergeant with the Murray Police Department observed him engaged in a sexual act outside his residence.

Charles Maupin, also known as Charles Harding, was seen naked outside his home around 5 p.m. on Aug. 6, 2025. When the sergeant approached, Maupin retreated into his residence and initially refused to exit.

This marks the fourth time Maupin has been charged with indecent exposure in the past four months, according to previous reports.

The Murray Police Department reminds that individuals charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
