Rep. Bost to embark on 2-week Southern Illinois tour

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — U.S. Rep. Mike Bost will launch a two-week tour across Southern Illinois to discuss the newly signed One Big, Beautiful Bill Act and its expected impact on local communities.

The tour, which includes 14 stops, will feature visits to businesses, agricultural events, educational institutions and community meetings.

Bost will discuss provisions of the law related to taxes, manufacturing, farming, education and rural infrastructure.

The tour begins Aug. 11 and includes stops in Jonesboro, Flora, Oblong, Harrisburg and Marion, among others. More information is available on Bost’s website.
