(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Trigg County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to begin daytime closures along KY 1489 starting Tuesday, Aug. 12, to perform shoulder repair and debris cleanup.
The work zone extends from U.S. 68 to State Park Road, or mile points 5.27 to 1.9.
Crews will work between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day, progressing in sections throughout the week. Weather permitting, the closure schedule is as follows:
Aug. 12 – KY 1489 from U.S. 68 to Malone Road
Aug. 13 – KY 1489 from Malone Road to Gresham Road
Aug.14 & 15 – KY 1489 from Gresham Road to State Park Road
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 15.
Route D in St. Francois County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of roadway is located from route C to Cedar Run Road near Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Aug. 18 through Thursday, Aug. 28 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The work zone will remain in place 24 hours a day. Traffic will be guided through with automated traffic signals.
