Cape Girardeau business owner seeks community’s help after break-In

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) — The owner of a Cape Girardeau business is asking for the community’s help after her store was broken into.

Madison Snyder, owner of Grateful Headz on Broadway Street, said her security alarms went off around 11:30 p.m. Finding her glass door shattered.

“There were two suspects seen on camera, and I’m just looking to get help from the community,” Snyder said. “I’ve tried to be a positive impact on this community since I came here, and I’m just looking for the community to look out for me in that way.”

Security cameras captured an image of the suspects, which was shared on the business’s Facebook page.

Snyder said a few merchandise items were stolen, but the damage to the property was more extensive than the loss of products.

She said she is grateful no one was hurt and that the incident will not stop her from running her business or continuing to support the community.

“As for the business, we’re just locking down on even more security measures and continuing to put smiles on the community’s faces as much as we can,” Snyder said.

She thanked customers for their support and said she hopes for justice for both her store and the community.
