Scott County Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in vehicle theft investigation

BENTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent vehicle theft near Benton and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect.

A person of interest was captured on surveillance camera entering the vehicle and taking it from the property without permission.

The suspect is described as a slender-built white male in his early 20s, wearing glasses and having dark-colored hair.

Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to contact the Scott County Sheriff’s Office. Anonymous tips are welcome.
