2 juveniles charged in connection with March shooting at Casey’s

DU QUOIN, Ill., (KBSI) — Two male juveniles from Du Quoin have been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred at Casey’s General Store on North Hickory Street on March 17, 2025.

One juvenile faces charges of aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.

The second juvenile has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated discharge of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm, with the charges listed as “accountability.”

The investigation was conducted with assistance from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, Illinois State Police and Perry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
