SEMO food bank partners with VFW in mobile food pantry

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – The SEMO foodbank partners with the Cape Girardeau VFW Post 3838 for a mobile food drive.

The mobile pantry is held the second Tuesday of each month and provides nutritious food items such as canned goods, fruits and vegetables and more.

This serves as a way to give back to local veterans in need.

Veterans just pull up, show their ID and VFW members load up their vehicles.

The second Tuesday of each month, 1049 N Kingshighway St. Cape Girardeau starts at 9:00 am and lasts until supply runs out.

No preregistration is necessary.
