St. Louis man drowns in private pond near Patton

PATTON, Mo., (KBSI) — A 30-year-old St. Louis man drowned Saturday while swimming in a private pond about 4 miles north of Patton, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the victim went underwater and failed to resurface.

Bollinger County Coroner Calvin Troxell pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
