Warm Soles, New Hope campaign distributes shoes to Southern Illinois children

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (KBSI) — The WIBH Warm Soles, New Hope campaign has distributed 108 pairs of shoes to children in need, thanks to over $3,000 in donations.

The annual campaign is a partnership between Operation Warm, a nonprofit organization, and WIBH Radio. Shoes were distributed through local organizations including Arrowleaf, the Children’s Medical and Mental Health Resource Network, Rural Health Inc. and Southern 7 Head Start.

The shoes will benefit children affected by abuse, neglect, disaster and family struggles in Southern Illinois.
