American Whiskey founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee now available in Missouri

VERSAILLES, Ky., (KBSI) — Saga Spirits, a new whiskey company founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee Wes Henderson, co-founder of Angel’s Envy®, announced Wednesday the launch of its True Story whiskey line in Missouri.
True Story Finished Bourbon and True Story Finished Rye are now available at select retailers across the state in distinctive bottles.
“Missouri has always been a place that values whiskey, storytelling and hospitality,” Henderson said. “I look forward to people enjoying True Story. My sons and I founded this brand to create a space where people can pull up a chair, share a drink and connect over stories.”
The True Story portfolio includes:
True Story Finished Bourbon — a 90-proof Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey aged five to six years in charred American white oak barrels. The spirit offers notes of exotic fruits and florals for a balanced sweetness. Suggested retail price: $59.99.
True Story Finished Rye — a 100-proof blend of straight rye whiskey aged five to eight years, with tasting notes of raisin, cinnamon, black pepper, caramelized sugar and French oak. Suggested retail price: $69.99.
Henderson is joined at True Story by his six sons, continuing the legacy of his father, Lincoln Henderson, who created some of America’s most recognized spirits.
True Story is available for purchase in stores and online through the brand’s e-commerce partner, BigThirst.
