Oasis Sports Complex partners with JP Sports to host youth tournaments in Marion
MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — Oasis Sports Complex has announced a partnership with JP Sports, a leading Midwest tournament organizer, to bring elite youth sports tournaments to Southern Illinois.
“This collaboration with JP Sports is exactly the kind of forward-thinking partnership we envisioned,” Oasis Sports Director Ralph Santana said. “Their track record of excellence ensures that athletes, families and fans will experience something extraordinary right here in Southern Illinois.”
JP Sports Director Keith Darmody said the organization’s network of teams, industry-leading events, experienced officials and customer service will create a premier youth sports experience in Marion.
Oasis Sports Complex General Manager Mary Jo Firnbach said the partnership is about more than athletics. “This complex isn’t just about sports — it’s about building community, creating opportunities for young athletes and driving economic growth in our region,” she said.
The 94-acre, $40 million Oasis Sports Complex features modular fields that can transform from four baseball and softball diamonds into two full-size soccer fields, allowing multiple tournaments across different sports to run simultaneously. Nearby, Mtn Dew Park will serve as the championship field, offering teams a professional stadium setting.
The first tournaments under the partnership will be announced soon, officials said.
