Seasonably Cooler Temperatures Continue Into Next Week
Forecast:
Another cooler day ahead across the Heartland with temperatures in the lower to mid 80s with mostly sunny skies. A light breeze will continue throughout the day out of the north-northwest.
Low temperatures this evening will fall into the middle and upper 50s with mostly clear skies. Winds shift to be out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
High temperatures to start the week will struggle to reach 80 degrees, with most of us topping out in the upper 70s. Partly sunny skies with a small chances of showers and thunderstorms and a north-northwesterly wind.
Stormcast is currently keeps most of the afternoon showers out of our area, but a few sprinkles could still be possible.
Expect a smooth morning commute on Monday in Cape with temperatures only climbing into the lower 70s by lunch time. High temperatures tomorrow will reach the upper 70s with partly sunny skies and a small chance of afternoon showers.
Dew points will continue to drop into the lower and middle 50s providing a nice break from the summer-time humidity.
Mostly sunny skies for Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures in the lower 80s. storm chances return on Thursday, and then off and on heading into the weekend. Temperatures continue to stay below average heading towards the end of the month in the upper 70s and lower-to-mid 80s.
