USS LST 325 to visit Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The USS LST 325, a World War II-era tank landing ship, will make a special stop in Cape Girardeau, on September 25-29, 2025, offering visitors the chance to tour the historic vessel.

The ship, which played a role in one of the most pivotal periods in world history, allows guests to explore its decks, learn about life at sea during the war and hear stories of service and bravery.

Organizers said the visit is open to families, students and history enthusiasts.
