Cape Girardeau leaders gather for State of the Community Luncheon

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual State of the Community Luncheon, bringing together regional leaders to discuss the city and county’s outlook.

Scheduled speakers include Cape Girardeau County Presiding Commissioner Clint Tracy, Southeast Missouri State University President Dr. Brad Hodson, and Cape Girardeau Mayor Stacy Kinder. Gov. Mike Kehoe was unable to attend due to a special session for congressional redistricting in Jefferson City. In his place, Missouri Senator Jamie Berger addressed the luncheon.

The event was presented by Mayson Capital Partners and co-hosted by Saint Francis Healthcare System and The Southern Stone Company.
