NEW YORK, Ny., (KBSI) — SiriusXM announced Thursday that Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has signed a deal to bring The Andy Beshear Podcast to the SiriusXM Podcast Network, expanding the show’s reach to the company’s 33 million subscribers. Episodes will also air on SiriusXM Progress channel 127.

As part of the agreement, SiriusXM Media will hold exclusive global advertising sales rights to the audio edition of the podcast.

Beshear’s first SiriusXM episode is scheduled to premiere Sept. 10, featuring a wide-ranging interview with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries recorded at SiriusXM’s New York City studios. The episode will debut on the SiriusXM app and other major podcast platforms and will air on Progress at 11 a.m. ET Sept. 13.

In addition, Beshear will launch a new series of live specials titled Andy Beshear Presents, airing exclusively on Progress. The series debuts Sept. 9 at noon ET with fellow host John Fugelsang and will feature call-ins from listeners across the country.

“I want this podcast to be a space to bring people together — especially in such a stressful and divisive time in our country,” Beshear said in a statement. “This is a conversation with friends, and we talk about things that matter to all of us: sports, politics, pop culture, our kids. I’m excited to expand this conversation with listeners across the country on SiriusXM, highlighting a wide range of voices and ideas that can help move us all forward, together.”

The Andy Beshear Podcast will continue to release new episodes weekly on Progress, with episodes available on the SiriusXM app, major podcast platforms and video editions on YouTube.
