(KBSI) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Calloway County Highway Maintenance Crew will temporarily close KY 1536/Ezell Road at mile point 2.5, starting at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11.
A crew will be replacing a cross drain just west of Forrest Road.
Work is expected to be completed by noon Thursday, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
The Roberts Road access to U.S. 60 in west McCracken County will close permanently on Thursday, Sept. 11. This is along U.S. 60 at mile point 1.079.
A contractor is continuing work in the area as part of the ongoing U.S. 60 realignment project near Kevil.
A cul-de-sac will be built at the end of Roberts Road. Residents will be able to access U.S. 60 via KY 995/Rice Springs Road.
A new traffic crossover and diversion on U.S. 60, near the transition from four lanes to two (between KY 1154/Hobbs Road and Queensway Drive), is expected to open late Thursday, Sept. 11, weather permitting.
A lane restriction is currently in place in this area with a reduced speed limit of 45 mph. Please use caution.
Route D in Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
This section of the roadway is located from County Road 563 to County Road 102A near Malden, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
